I was given this small peice of shim stock and asked to make a punch die that would produce exact duplicates. So, I came up with this simple design and started cutting. First it punches the shape then at the bottom of the stroke it punches the hole. Now thousands of these tag shaped pieces can be made in just seconds per part.

Shop
My shop started as a 27x32 dirt floor horse barn with four stalls and a sliding door on both ends. Then with the help of some friends and family I slowly converted it into a garage instead of a barn. I couldn't have been happier concrete floor and 2 overhead doors. While this was happening I was working in a few different tool and die/machine shops.
I was buying every tool I could ever need or use at work. Eventually it turned into machines, just kept my eye's open for any deal's on used machinery and pay as I go. My garage is now a shop full of different machines and tools to make just about anything out of metal.
